Five makeup mistakes to avoid this summer 2019.

Makeup can be your best friend or your worst enemy, depending on the way you use it. No, we're not trying to scare you, just warn you. When done well, makeup can make you look like a million dollars. On the other hand, when it is not done correctly, it can also make you look less attractive or even older than you. It all comes down to the efficiency with which you use makeup to your advantage. And, in hot weather, it's about knowing the right techniques. Jerusha Change, Content Manager, MyGlamm talks about the five makeup mistakes that should be avoided in summer:

Using expired makeup

It's time to check your makeup hideout and remove all products that have passed the expiration date. Old and expired products are not safe to use and can cause rashes, allergies, and irritation. Also, they do not give the best results. Always check makeup products for the expiration date and use them accordingly. Discard all expired products and replenish, even if they are expensive.

Do not clean the makeup brushes.

Makeup brushes are important tools that give you the right application and finish. Keeping them clean prolongs your life and saves you many problems with outbreaks and infections. Old and dirty brushes are a breeding ground for bacteria and germs. Wash them regularly with warm water and detergent and then dip them in an antiseptic liquid before drying them thoroughly. Never leave your brushes in damp areas, such as the bathroom, or store them without drying them completely, as they will damage the brushes and cause germs to grow on them.

Applying too much bronzer

The bronzer has become the next big thing in the makeup world, thanks to celebrities and beauty bloggers. But while everyone wants to use the sunscreen for that sun-kissed look, using too much sunscreen and applying it all over the face can be counterproductive. If you use the sunscreen more than prescribed, your face may look like a tan is not right. Use the smallest amount of bronzer on the jawline, the edges of the forehead, the temples and the sides of the bridge of the nose for a warm glow that looks natural. You can use more and build it if necessary, but avoid taking many products at once.

Too dark brows

Now that we know the importance of eyebrow preparation, exaggerating this can also pose a problem. If you fill your eyebrows, whether eyebrow powder, pencil or gel, use a product that is similar to the color of your natural hair. Using very dark colors can make your eyebrows look fake and unnatural. While filling the eyebrows, use short movements, such as feathers, following the natural direction of hair growth. Avoid a product that seems too heavy or intense on your natural eyebrows.

Picking the wrong blush color

The bright, reddened cheeks are a sign of good health, and good makeup consists of imitating that natural blush. The blushes have been part of the makeup kit of all makeup lovers, but as we are flooded with a variety of colors, it has become confusing. Not all brushes are created equal. Opt for a blush closer to your skin tone. People with light and medium skin can try pink rosé and peaches. Nude, red and brown blush is best seen in people with dark and dark skin tones.
